I never found much use for the complex GOW-style attack combos- SPAM SQUARE UNTIL DEAD worked pretty well. The smallish platforming bits were made somewhat sloppy by the bad double-jump mechanics. I thought Juno was going to go for my face. Some of the cinematic models were hella-creepy though. The character had a cool posture - like he was used to being beaten, and hunkered down in a permanent semi-flinch, and he moved like he was always in pain. I generally liked the game's design and animation. The Apprentice ends up basically Chuck Norris - any ass left to be kicked in the whole Star Wars universe is only available for kicking because Starkiller decided to have a sandwich instead of kicking it himself.

Overall, better plotted and acted than the prequels, worse than the original, and Starkiller's relentless ass kicking really lessened the coolness of Skywalker and his crew if you accepted they were part of the same series of events (but I wall off the EU in a little cell in the basement of my mind, and only occasionally let it out for some fresh air, before locking it all away in screaming shit-encrusted pandemonium and nonsense babbling). This game pleased me, other than the relentless fan service (now you fight Darth Maul! Now you fight Vader! Now you fight the fucking Emperor himself, and kick his motherfucking ass!).Д«ut then, I actually said, out loud, and in front of living witnesses (my two dogs, who were very embarrassed for me) 'Yeah bitch! I used to play Jedi Knight from the beginning with the max force cheat to get that experience. It's always nice to do JEDI SMASH!, and I was pleased somebody recognized that's the shit some of us SW fans have been after for ages. I WILL get my goddamn copy of inFamous, but I finished TFU last night, and am going to send it back for exchange with my cooties all over it. So, to extract a little revenge over my geek-rage at goHastings totally shittastic customer service, I decided to play SW:TFU that they shipped me instead of inFamous.
